Weapons in Delta Force Hawk Ops' Tactical Turmoil mode are more important than most other extraction shooters, so grabbing the right one ahead of your next operation should help guarantee success.
I've laid out the best weapons that you can use for every class, giving you a plethora of options to choose from regardless of the situation!
Best weapons for extraction
Assault Rifles
- M7
- AS Val
- K416
- ASh-12
- AUG

M7
Using the extremely strong 6.8x51mm rounds, the M7 is undoubtedly the strongest weapon that you can use right now in Delta Force Hawk Ops. You're getting serious damage, uncompromising armour penetration, and fantastic handling to create an all-around package that is hard to resist.

While the 645 rpm might not excel quite as much in standard multiplayer, it thankfully makes the gun more competent at longer ranges, which you'll often run into in extraction.
AS Val
While dropping 11 points of damage compared to the M7, the AS Val certainly doesn't suffer with an extremely high fire rate and an innately silenced design.
One of the biggest features of the Val is its 972 rpm fire rate, which is over 300 higher than the aforementioned M7, which is extremely effective if you manage to hit all of your shots. This is, of course, much more likely to happen in close-quarters scenarios, but if you play it right then you can force these fights in your favour.
Additionally, the AS Val also boasts a built-in suppressor and subsonic rounds, which makes your gunshots extremely challenging to pinpoint
K416
The K416, more commonly known as the HK416 if you've played Escape from Tarkov, is a fantastic choice in Hawk Ops - especially in Tactical Turmoil. More so than its 5.56 sibling the M4A1, the K416 is a well-rounded monster that excels in most short to mid-range gunfights.

While not as fast as the Val or as highly damaging as the M7, it still boasts 29 damage and a fire rate of 880 rpm, hitting the sweet spot alongside its great handling. What's more is that the K416 is an extremely adaptable weapon if you have the funds required, giving you some of the greatest modding flexibility in the entire game if you wish to indulge in the best attachments.
SMGs
- Vector

- SR-3M
Vector
While the P90 and SR-3M each have their own strengths, the Vector definitely stands as the cream of the crop when it comes to submachine guns. Packing 32 points of damage into a fire rate of 1091 rpm is devastating to say the least, and on top of that, you've also got the high penetration of .45 ammo.

Like all SMGs you're going to still struggle when it comes to range, but I doubt there's a better weapon to use when things get up close and personal, so if you plan on running into other players then you might want to consider using the Vector.
Sniper Rifles

AWM
There's no better sniper rifle in the game than the AWM, offering top-class precision and power to take out targets that won't even know that you exist.

Alongside the incredibly high damage, the biggest thing that the AWM has over any other weapon is its muzzle velocity, which sits at 750m/s. This makes hitting those long-range shots a lot easier, as the bullet drop will be significantly lower than any other alternatives.
Its ammo is both its biggest upside and downside though, as the .338 LM rounds are one of the strongest in the game, but they are extremely difficult to acquire so you're likely not going to be able to use the AWM that much. If you do get to use it though, you'll quickly see why it deserves its place at the top.
Shotguns
- S12K
S12K
Shotguns, as long as they're not pump-actioned, are pretty much all as good as each other, but the S12K is my personal favourite pick. This is largely due to the magazine-based system that the gun employs, which gives it a significant advantage in gunfights over the pellet-loaded alternatives.

Where this really excels is in the nature of Delta Force's ammo situation, where you simply need available ammo to be reloaded into. The downside of Saiga in a game like Tarkov is that its magazines take up a lot of space, but that complaint is disregarded completely when it comes to Tactical Turmoil.
Marksman Rifles
- SR-25
- SVD
SR-25
The SR-25 is definitely up there with my favourite weapons to use in Tactical Turmoil, as its precision and handling are a joy to use in pretty much any situation. Of course, you'll suffer slightly in the super close-range fights, but it's more than capable of matching even the fastest fire rates if you manage to hit your shots.

This is down to the fantastic 7.62x51 rounds that you'll be packing, which sustain super high damage alongside fantastic armour penetration. Where you'll really see the SR shine though is in medium to long-range engagements, as your accuracy and power will outclass most other weapons.
LMGs
- M249
M249
I wouldn't expect too much from LMGs when it comes to Tactical Turmoil, as their shoddy handling leaves a lot to be desired. However, they certainly have their perks, and in the right hands can be a real menace.

Combining the M249's 858 rpm fire rate with its huge magazine can certainly get you far through sheer suppression, but I wouldn't expect to hit all or frankly most of your shots. Thankfully with 30 damage and the potentially great penetration from 5.56 rounds you'll do plenty to any enemies unlucky enough to be caught in your crossfire, but just don't expect to be useful all of the time.
Pistols
- Desert Eagle
Desert Eagle
Pistols shouldn't really ever be your first port of call when it comes to engagements with other players, but when it comes to backup options you can't get much better than the Desert Eagle.

The damage here is more than enough to finish off any opposing force, and you'll definitely feel really cool when doing so too. Some players might be better with a more mobile and fast-firing alternative, but if you can hit your shots then there's nothing better than the good ol' Deagle to back you up.
